Delhi Metro : Good news for Delhi commuters! The Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) has completed the safety inspection and granted approval to begin operations. The plan was to start services during the first Navratri, but due to certain reasons, it couldn’t happen. Now, it is expected that metro operations on this corridor may begin around Diwali.

People are eagerly waiting for the commencement of services on the Pink Line extension corridor from Majlis Park to Maujpur. Constructed under Phase IV, this corridor is expected to become operational by Diwali. Once opened, it will significantly improve connectivity across a large part of Delhi, directly benefiting thousands of daily commuters.

The Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) has already given the green signal for operations after a thorough safety inspection. Although the initial launch was planned for Navratri, unforeseen delays prevented it. Now, all eyes are on DMRC and the official announcement of the inauguration date, which is expected soon.

Currently, the Pink Line operates between Majlis Park and Shiv Vihar, covering a total distance of 59.24 kilometers. With the completion of the Majlis Park to Maujpur corridor under Phase IV, the Pink Line has now been transformed into a circular corridor. Due to this, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has renamed it the Pink Circular Line.
